Pure GPS altitude measurement often fluctuates by many meters. Altitude additionally uses the barometric pressure sensor of your iPhone and calibrates continuously — for a stable, reliable altitude.

Altitude combines GPS with the barometric pressure sensor of your iPhone and merges both values through intelligent sensor fusion. This keeps the altitude significantly more stable and accurate than pure GPS measurement, even in changing conditions.
Does Altitude work offline?
Yes. In GPS mode, Altitude measures your altitude even without an internet connection — no signal, on a mountain, or in airplane mode. An active connection only improves automatic calibration, but is not required.
Does Altitude cost anything?
Altitude is free on the App Store and is supported by ads. If you want to measure without ads, you can upgrade to Altitude Premium — for a focused, distraction-free experience.
What does Altitude Premium offer?
With Premium, you use Altitude completely ad-free. You get the same precise altitude measurement experience — just without ads and without distraction.
Is Altitude multilingual?
