Dosara reliably reminds you to take your medication – and your family's and your pets', too. The app works completely offline, needs no sign-up and ships with no ads, tracking or subscription. 1. Does Dosara cost a subscription?

No. You pay once and use Dosara forever – including all future updates. No subscription, no monthly fees, no ads, no tracking.

2. Does the app work offline?

Yes, completely. Dosara needs no sign-up and no server – all data stays on your device. Optionally, the app syncs encrypted through your own iCloud account, and only then.

3. Can I manage medication for my pets too?

Yes. Create dedicated profiles for dogs, cats and other animals – with weight history and a vaccination record. The “Care handoff” PDF export bundles medications, dosages and the vet contact for pet sitters or holiday cover.

4. For how many people can I use Dosara?

For any number of profiles – you, parents, children and pets. The Today view shows all of the household's doses grouped clearly. Ideal for caregivers.

5. How do reminders work?

You get push reminders with actions straight from the notification: Taken, Later or Skip. You control the sound, time-sensitive mode and snooze duration; all reminders are scheduled locally on your device.

6. What is the emergency card?

Store blood type, allergies, diagnoses and an emergency contact. In an emergency, one tap shows everything important – without unlocking the iPhone.

7. Which languages does Dosara support?

Seven: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian and Chinese (Simplified). You can switch the language anytime without restarting, as well as light or dark mode.

8. Can I back up and export my data?

Yes. Export and import your data as JSON – for a backup or moving to a new device. You can also create an adherence report as a PDF to print or share with your doctor.

9. Is Dosara a medical device?

No. Dosara is a reminder and documentation tool and does not replace medical advice.
